Huawei Mate 10: What Are We Expecting To See?
The Mate phone has been one of my favorite Huawei devices, I have been using the Mate 9 Pro for over a year now, and I just can’t wait to upgrade to the Mate 10 Pro.
Next week Huawei is expected to reveal it’s flagship phone via three different devices: the Mate 10, Mate 10 Lite and Mate 10 Pro.
Kirin 970 – Artificial Intelligence (AI)
What makes the Mate 10 interesting for the techies, is the fact that it is powered by the new Kirin 970 processor. Huawei claims that the Kirin 970 has 25 times the power and 50 times the efficiency of artificial intelligence processing on the chip itself than on a traditional CPU core.
This processor will impact other features such as quicker charging speed, better photography capabilities, longer battery life, and overall higher performance.
The Mate 10 is expected to come with a 6.1-inch 1440 x 2880 Quad-HD AMOLED display with almost no bezels (Leaked pictures via Evan Blass)
It is rumored that the device will support the mobile desktop feature when connected to a docking station and an external monitor.
A 4,000mAh battery makes the Huawei Mate 10’s battery bigger than the competition, including the iPhone 8 Plus (2,675mAh), Galaxy S8+ (3,500mAh), and the Pixel 2 XL (3,550mAh).
Huawei / Leica Camera
Huawei’s partnership with Leica contributed to people trusting the Chinese brand even more. Today people depend on their mobile phones to take photos everywhere they go. The Mate 9 was able to capture 20MP high-quality photos with the dual lens camera, so we’re expecting nothing less than 23MP.
